8434 SP capsules and 90 N10 capsules burnt

Imphal, November 18 2011: The 8434 SP capsules and ninety N10 capsules recovered by the Anzuman Islah-E-Mushara, Hatta Golapati, from three persons were burnt to ashes today.

The burning of the SP and N10 capsules took place at around 1 pm in front of the Minuthong Hafiz Hatta Social Welfare Union.

Speaking to reporters, MA Abdul Khalif, Convenor of Anzuman Islah-E-Mushara, Hatta Golapati, said that the drugs were recovered from three persons who have been identified as Burahan Uddin (30), s/o Din Mohammud of Keikhu Muslim Makha Leikai, Ashad Ali (25), s/o Ayub Ali of Hatta Makha Leikai and Thoibi Begam (27), w/o Shafi of Hatta Maning Leikai.

He further said that drives against use and sell of drugs will be carried out further.
