Army nabs two UG cadres

Imphal, September 18 2011: One UG cadre of Zomi Reunification Army (ZRA) was apprehended during a joint operation carried out by troops of 10 DOGRA Regiments of 59 Mountain Brigade and 10 AR in Leilon Khunou village.

The arrested cadre was identified as Luntun Hao @ Haopa (37) of Leilon Khunou village.

The apprehended cadre was handed over to Imphal West PS, stated a press release issued by PIB (DW) .

It further said that a joint team of 5/9 GR, 10 AR and 33 AR of Red Shield Division apprehended one PREPAK cadre from Moirang Siribon in Bishnupur District on September 16 .

Apprehendee was identified as S/S Lance Corporal Puyam Shindur (29) of Moirang Khunou Maning Leikai, Bishnupur district.

He revealed his involvement in tax collection and trafficking of arms.

He was handed over to Moirang PS, said the release.
