Bishnupur, August 18 2018: National Food Security Act (NFSA) cards were distributed to 77 benefactrices of Kumbi Municipal Council, ward no 3 and 4 at Wangoo Parking Mamang Leikai Community Hall yesterday.

MLA of Kumbi AC, S Bira Singh, while speaking to media persons, stated that the authorities concerned are trying tirelessly to deliver and distribute ration card along with other welfare schemes to the benefactrices.

He stated that the ration cards were distributed as part of the fulfilment of 87 per cent distribution of NFSA card in the State.

He assured that the State Government will try to reach the distribution target to 90 percent at the earliest.
