Imphal, July 16 2018: A security meet was conducted by Mayang Imphal Company Operating Base of Tulihal Battalion under the aegis of HQ 9 Sector Assam Rifles at Choubung Kompany, Mayang Imphal which was attended by SDPO Mayang Imphal, Pradhans, student leaders, Ex-Servicemen & Meira Paibis organization members.

Security aspects and necessary measures to be undertaken by locals in synergy with Assam Rifles as well as the requirement of keeping a strict vigil in the area, in view of upcoming Independence Day, were deliberated.

The security meet provided a platform to the villagers to discuss their perspective of security situation in the area and suggested measures to improve synergy between security forces and local populace.

During the interaction, apart from security agendas, discussion on pre training for army recruitment rally, scheduled on October, career counselling for youths and the future action plans of Civic projects that are to be conducted by army at various villages were also discussed.
