Two held for posting vulgar content on FB

Imphal, June 16 2021: Manipur cybercrime police station on Wednesday arrested two individuals who posted objectionable photos and videos of women without their consent on a Facebook page.

The arrested persons have been identified as Konjengbam Karorchandra Khaba (27) son of K Ibotombi Khaba of Ward No 8 Kongkham Makha Leikai, Nambol and Abujam Satyajit Singh (27) son of A Manaoton Singh of Changangei Maning Leikai.

According to police, the two created a derogatory Facebook group titled 'Kanglei Imagi Nupising' and posted obnoxious photos and videos of several women.

They further shared the videos and photos to several Whatsapp groups they created.

The arrested people were then produced in front of CJM Imphal West court and further remanded to police custody till June 19 .
