Kangpokpi (Senapati), April 11 2015 : Felicitation programme of Tujang Area Youth Association (TAYA) Championship for the recently held Inter Area Invitation Cup 2015 was organised today at CC Hall Ngahmun village, Sadar Hills, reports our correspondent.

The programme was attended by Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen, Rev Henjangam Kipgen, P Khothah-II, special contractor Haotinlen Vaiphei and Rev Satneo, coordinator EBCCF and several other village chiefs, Church leaders.

Speaking at the occasion, MLA Nemcha said that it is equally important for youth to excel not only in physical activities but also in education and build a disciplined and successful life.

Renowned Kuki artistes Jimmy Lamboi and Michael Luncha enthralled the crowd with their popular songs "Lhangkichoi", "Ipidinga hepa neiti ham", "Lanu khat ahungdoh-e", "Nengboi lenna Jorhat Khopi" .

A grand feast marked the occasion.
