Chronic Kidney patients to receive free treatment

CCpur, August 09 2019: The nodal officer of Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme (PMNDP) District Hospital Churachandpur has notified families with Chronic Kidney Disease (CDK), both newly detected and those following dialysis at any dialysis centre in the State, to get registered in the District Dialysis Registry.

The registration will enable the Sate Health Mission to forward the same to the Centre for adequate mobilisation of the required resources so as to render free treatment to CKD patients, it said.

Further, the nodal officer has informed the public that new OPD for CKD patients will be opened once a week (every Friday) at District Hospital Churachandpur.
