Birth Anniv of Kabi Leitanthem Ram observed

Thoubal, September 07 2021: Kabi Leitanthem Ram Singh Memorial Trust, Thoubal in association with Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal observed the 98th Birth Anniversary of author Kabi Leitanthem Ram Singh at the premises of the Samiti at Thoubal Okram on Tuesday.

The observance was attended by Samiti's Thoubal president retired Wing Commander Ak Debendra and Trust president Th Khomdol as presidium members.

As part of the observance, floral tributes were offered to the portrait of the deceased author.

Later, the gathering remembered the contributions made by the author with regard to education of girl child, promotion of literature of the state and his life history.
