Imphal, February 06 2025: A combined team of Kakching district police commando, Wangoo police station, BSF, Assam Rifles and 2 Mahar Regiment conducted search operation at Wangoo Nongyai Ching and recovered weapons on Thursday.

According to police, during the search operation conducted from 6.30 am to 8.50 am, one single barrel, one SLR rifle with magazine, two 36 HE hand grenades, one tear gas grenade, one tear gas shell and two 600 gram IEDs were recovered.

The recovered items were handed over to Wangoo police station for necessary action, it added.
