Film fraternity joins pro ILPS bandwagon

Joining the pro-ILPS bandwagon, people from film fraternity of the State today staged a sit-in-protest at Elangbam Leikai Leirak Achouba today.
Organised by Maniwood Sports Club, the protest was held from 11 am to 4 pm.
Speaking to reporters, Maniwood Sports Club president Lokendra Takhellambam said that film fraternity would continue to extend support to every pro-ILPS agitation.
Saying that it is the responsibility of every citizen of the State to protect indigenous people of the State, Lokendra also urged the Government to take up necessary actions in this connection.
Meanwhile, women vendors of three Ima markets also staged a similar sit-in-protest at Purana Bazar.
JCILPS Convenor Ibotombi Khuman spoke at the sit-in-protest as a resource person.
