Imphal, July 05 2014 : The installation of single phase pre-paid energy meter have been started in parts of Imphal areas from May 1, according to Khamba Singh, General Manager, EC-1, MSPDCL.

He notified to the general public and electric consumers the pre-paid energy meter will be activated upon the clearance of 50 per cent of the principal amount of the upto date outstanding dues of the consumers and completion of installation of ABC cabling of the areas.

The activation date is likely to be in September, 2014, the statement added.
