Imphal, October 03 2016: The Jawaharlal Nehru, Manipur Dance Academy, Imphal, in association with Shree Shree Gopinath Devata Sevayat Committee, Ningthoukhong, will be organising a five day festival of Raas Leela on the occasion of the 218th Death Anniversary of Rajarshi Bhagyachandra from October 4 to 8 at Shree Shree Gopinath Temple, Ningthoukhong.

The inaugural function will begin from 3 pm graced by Commerce and Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam and Chief Secretary O Nabakishore.

The academy will also organise a two day festival of Tribal Dance in association with Liangmai Naga Council, Manipur, from October 6 to 7 at Tamei playground, Tamenglong, a statement issued by Administrative Officer N Ibetombi informed.
