Imphal, December 31 2014 : Major General Rajeev Chopra, IG AR (South) and all ranks of Assam Rifles extended warm greetings and sincere goodwill to the people of Manipur and wish everyone a very Happy New Year.

IG AR (South) also conveyed his earnest message of peace, harmony, unity and understanding on this joyous occasion.

He earnestly wished that all the goodwill should bring us together, irrespective of caste, creed and faith.

To commemorate the New Year we all must take a resolve to weed out the inimical elements of the society and forge towards the path of unity, peace and prosperity.

May the lord almighty bless us all with joy and happiness and guide us in our endeavours towards building a strong and prosperous nation, according to the PRO of IGAR (S) .
