Jwalamukhi Bn arrests one KRA cadre

Imphal, October 27 2018: Based on specific input received from own source regarding movement of an armed KRA cadre from Saikul towards Ekou Bazar in a passenger Auto vehicle, Jwalamukhi Bn under the aegis of Senapati Brigade EST MVCP at Thangkanphai Cemetery launch an operation and apprehended 'one active unregistered KRA cadre' alongwith one country made pistol on Oct 24.The cadre has been identified as Lamginlal Chongloi (30), s/o (L) Doukhohen Chongloi, r/o New Saikul, Tehsil - Sadar Hill East Saikul, Kpi.

'He confessed that he is an active cadre of KRA and is involved in extortion on behalf of the organisation', said a statement of PIB (Defence Wing) today.
