Imphal, October 27 2015: Power supply
Manipur State Power Distribution Company Ltd (MSPDCL) has informed the public that there will be no power supply at Nambol area from 7 am of October 29 to 5 pm of October 30 due to renovation works at 33/11 KV sub-station, Utlou.

Nupigi Punsi released
Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy lecturer Irom Usharani released the November edition of 'Nupigi Punsi' at a simple function organised by Young Women Help Organisation (YWHO) .

Power supply
There would be no power supply from Keishampat to Kwakeithel between 9 am to 4 pm of October 28, 29 and 30 as new electric poles would be erected along Tidim Road.

Dance audition
Doordarshan Kendra Imphal has informed the dance artistes, who are diploma certificate holders or who have passed Dance Visharad or performed solo Manipuri classical dance that they may apply for audition of Manipuri classical dance Grade-B .

Audition forms can be had between 11 am and 3 pm from November 2 to 10 with the payment of Rs 500, said a press release.

Tapas Sen Gupta, expenditure observer for the by-election to Thangmeiband A/C and Thongju A/C scheduled on November 21 would be arriving here tomorrow, informed an official source.

Notification for the by-election would also be issued tomorrow.

Medical camp
'Manipur Terriers' under the aegis of Red Shield Division conducted a medical camp on Oct 23 at Jadonang memorial Hall, Kambiron.

A statement issued by PRO (Defence), Imphal said a total of 500 locals from Kambiron, Kekru Keki, Naga, Kaimai, Borah, Rengpang and Nungba villages attended the camp.

One Army doctor and two nursing assistants provided medical assistance to the people along with free distribution of medicines.

DESAM unit
DESAM unit of CC Higher Secondary School has been formed with Ksh Suraj Meitei and Puinachandra Khangembam as the president and secretary general respectively.

Besides, six other office bearers were also elected, according to a statement.

MLA Meghachandra distributes blankets
Wangkhem Assembly Constituency MLA K Meghachandra distributed blankets to older persons of Wangkhem AC during a programme today, reports our correspondent.

The simple distribution programme was organised in memory of the MLA's late mother.

Around 2100 older persons of Wangkhem AC were presented blankets during the programme.
