Imphal, January 27 2019: The proscribed PREPAK has claimed that the series of bomb blasts which occurred near Lamphel power house at around 8 pm of January 25 and at BRTF office near Lamphel Shankar Hall, Yairipok Santa Keithel and Singjamei Wangma Thongkhong Kshetri Leikai this morning were carried out by its Red Army.

According to a press release issued by the outfit's publicity and propaganda secretary in-charge LeibaakNgaakpa Luwang, the bomb blasts were carried out as a part of the boycott call given by revolutionary organisations against celebration of the 70th Republic Day of India in WeSEA.

It said that PREPAK would continue its armed struggle until the people of Kangleipak (Manipur) are liberated from the alleged Indian imperialism.
