Imphal, September 25 2012: Amidst hue and cry over the assault case of T.Robert Maram at Imphal and missing of MR Jawan at Jiribam, another case of physical assault on a Senapati lad who is a newly recruit IRB personnel has come to light.

According to family members, R.P Patrick Kangba s/o R.P Anthony of Oklong village but presently residing at Makhrelui Village, DHQ was assaulted by some bike borne persons speaking Manipuri using batons and sticks on Sept 23 night at Minuthong near North AOC.

Kangba sustained injuries on his head.

The family members have appealed to the authorities concerned for identifying and booking the assailants.
