BRTF appeals to stop plying on NH 37

Imphal, June 25 2012: In order to speed up repairing work along NH 37, which has been hampered by recent landslides at Nung Dolan area, the BRTF officials have appealed to transporters to stop plying along the highway for two days.

Moreover, the section between Barak and Maku Bridge is also in its worst condition with incessant rain dampening the area, thereby hampering repairing work.

However, empty trucks can passed during the repairing period, the BRTF officials said.
