Imphal, March 25 2017: NSCN/GPRN has clarified that one Neiba Kire who was allegedly an NSCN (IM) kilonser and was apprehended is no longer a member of NSCN.

In a statement, MIP/Hebron said, "It was reported in local dailies that NSCN (IM) kiloser Neiba Kire was apprehended.

Neiba Kire is a former kilonser of ministry of ward victim's welfare and is no longer a member of NSCN.

Kire was terminated from national service on September 5, 2016 on account of irresponsible activities" .
