Imphal, November 22 2010: Troops of 23 AR of 10 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) apprehended one RPF/PLA cadre from Itham area in Ukhrul district around 11.45 pm on Nov 19 .

The arrested cadre has identified as Nameinrakpam Bikdendra (22) s/o N Angoumacha of Itham Mamang Leikai,Lamlai.

In yet another incident, troops of 23 AR and 39 AR launched joint operation in general areas Sawombung and Yourabung resulting in arrest of one KCP(MC) and one KYKL activist at 11.30 pm on Nov 20 and 12.15 am on Nov 21 .

The arrested cadres were identified as Hanjabam Rabi Sharma @ Dishho (32) KCP(MC) of Yourabung and Haobam Nabakumar of KYKL(MDF) (47) of Sawombung.

Both the apprehendees were handed over to Lamlai PS, a press release from PRO HQ IGAR (S) informed.
