Imphal, October 22 2012: Maj Gen Karun Kumar Sinha, SM GOC Red Shield Division has extended warm greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Dussehra.

"We pray to the Almighty to shower his blessing on Manipur to bring peace, harmony and prosperity to this great land", a PIB (DW) statement quoted the new GOC as saying.

The GOC expressed the hope that the festival of Dussehra will herald a new dawn, bring fresh hope, promise and everlasting peace to all parts of the State.
