RIMS distributes blood free of cost

Imphal, September 22 2012: On the occasion of Cancer Rose Day, Prof.S Sekharjit, Director of RIMS distributed a total of 41 units of blood to cancer patients in the Radiotherapy department free of cost.

The blood was made available by the Department of Immunohaematology and Blood Transfusion.

According to Dr A meina, Professoir and Head of the Department of Immuhaematology, distribution of blood on Cance Rose Day started in 2002.He also appealed to the people of the state to come forward and donate blood to save lives.
