IW police conducts drive against vehicles

Imphal, June 22 2021: Imphal West district police conducted drive against vehicles at different places of the district on Tuesday.

According to a police source, the drive under the supervision of SP Dr S Ibomcha was conducted at important road junctions of the district like Sagolband Bijoygovinda, Chingamathak, Khagempalli, Chingmeirong, Uripok, Naoremthong, Tera bazar, Ningthemcha Karong and Moirangkhom.

Two-wheeler riders without helmet and four-wheeler vehicles with tinted glass were detained during the drive.

The defaulting two-wheeler owners were made to pay fine of Rs 400 and four-wheeler owners made to remove tinted films on their own during the drive conducted from morning till evening.
