Imphal, March 20 2015 : The Directorate of Field Publicity, Nagaland and Manipur region today organised the closing function for its Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao sensitzation campaign at Imphal Unit.

The intensive campaign was held in Longleng district in Nagaland and Senapati district in Manipur, the two critical districts which have lowest child sex ratio in their respective States.

Dr L Ashananda Singh, Regional Director, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt of India graced the function as the chief guest.

Lauding the efforts of Directorate of Field Publicity, Dr Singh said that DFP has been delegated with the most important task of creating awareness among the public on the flagship programme.
