Imphal, January 20 2013 : In connection with Emoinu Irat Thouni, which falls on 23rd January, South East Asia Cultural Organisation (SEACO) has appealed to all the people of Manipur to lit lights and prays for prosperity.

Stating that Emoinu Irat Thouni is related to the socio-economic activities and prosperity of the Meeteis in Manipur, SEACO further appealed to all those who would be coming to worship at the temple to put "Leipak Leisa" instead of Sindoor on the foreheads, not to consume intoxicants before and after worshiping or organize any lottery or housie at the premises of temple.
