Army organises felicitation ceremony

Imphal, November 19 2017: Jwalamukhi Battalion under the aegis of Senapati Brigade of Red Shield Division organised a felicitation ceremony at Saparmaina on November 16 for nine youths of Kangpokpi district, who got selected in Indian Army, conveyed a press releaase of PIB Defence Wing.

The youths had attended the Army Recruitment Rally which was held at Leimakhong from October 3 to 10.The battalion provided assistance to the candidates for online registration and conducted pre recruitment training for the candidates.

The selected candidates will join Indian Army once they receive joining letter for basic military training, it said.

The youths offered vote of thanks and conveyed their sincere gratitude on behalf of all the people and youths of Kangpokpi district to the 'Jwalamukhi Battalion' for providing such type of guidance and training for the recruitment rally, added the release.
