Yoga trainers
Ministry of Ayush, Quality Council of India will be appointing four yoga experts each for every district to teach yoga to the people, Rajya Prabhari for State president Th Nillakumar, told media persons today.
Yoga trainers who have completed a minimum of three months course in yoga training could apply for the post.
The monthly pay of these trainers would be Rs 3000, Nillakumar said.
Jimet condoles
Jananeta Hijam Irawat Memorial Trust (JIMET) has condoled the sudden demise of the trusts' founding member Khuraijam Birjit Singh alias Kh Tomba (50) .
An emergency meeting of the trust, held at JIMET head office today observed a two minute silence in honour and memory of the deceased, our correspondent reports.
JIMET has also extended its deepest sympathies to the bereaved family.
Keirao road revamped
People have commenced revamping dilapidated Keirao Bitra road, which has been neglected by the Government since the past many years.
The said work has been taken up with the amount contributed by people and Keirao Bitra Gram Panchayat Pradhan.
A woman said that the road has not been repaired since the past 18 years.
Urging the public to extend support to the endeavour, she also appealed to the Government to revamp the road at the earliest.
