Imphal, January 19 2014 : A one day awareness programme on Financial Literacy Awareness Camp (FLCC) organized by United Bank of India (UBI), LDM Office, Imphal under the sponsorship of NABARD, Manipur Regional Office was conducted at Sapam in Thoubal district yesterday.

The programme was attended by Y Ibochou Singh, Manager, UBI Kakching Branch; Sh Budhi Singh, Zilla Parishad, Langathel and Kangbam Joy Singh, Area Co-ordinator, BCA/CSP UBI & Allahabad Bank as Chief Guest, President and Guest of Honour respectively.

Th Shantikumar Singh, Rural Relationship Manager, ICICI Insurance, spoke on life/Non-life Insurance, Importance of Social Security, Productive Years and Old Age as resource person during the camp.
