Imphal, December 18 2016: The 6th batch of free cataract operation was performed on 9 individuals under the aegis of Loktak Power Station, NHPC Ltd at Shija Hospital & Research Institute.

Free medicine, subsidized cost of operation with foldable IOL, transportation and fooding were provided by NHPC Ltd to the patients.

Spectacles will be distributed to the patients.

Elderly persons with cataract and eye-related problems may contact the doctors at Project Hospital Loktak, Leimatak to avail the opportunity.
