Blood donation
Life Savers, Manipur and JNIMS, Imphal jointly conducted a voluntary blood donation camp supported by the State Blood Transfusion Council, MACS at the Blood Bank and Transfusion Unit of JNIMS today.
Over 30 people donated blood at the camp.
Meet the author
Patriotic Writers' Forum, Assam Branch, Guwahati organised a 'Meet the author Ksh Bira' programme at Beltola.
According to a statement, the programme was presided by PWF Assam Thounaojam Shyam.
About 35 writers attended the programme.
KYDC appeals
Koutruk Youth Development Club (KYDC), Imphal West has appealed to the Government to stop demarcation of land on the plot earmarked for building of Central Sports University.
KYDC further appealed to the Government to construct sports university first and then other projects can be undertaken later, according to a statement issued by the president of KYDC.

Manipur tourism on NDTV
NDTV Lifestyle Ltd will air four episodes on Manipur tourism titled 'India Explored - Manipur' on December 19 and 26 and January 2 and 9 at 8 pm, said State Tourism Department Deputy Director in a statement.
Blood donation camp
Life Savers Manipur (LISAM), Wangkhei Lourembam Leikai, Imphal East organised the 13th voluntary blood donation camp in support of State blood transfusion council, MACS today from 11 am to 1 pm at the Blood Bank & Transfusion Unit, JNIMS, Porompat, according to a press release issued by managing director of LISAM.
