Imphal, September 18 2015 : Jadumani remanded
BJP Manipur Pradesh vice-president Th Jadumani, who was arrested by police on September 16, has been remanded to police custody till September 19 .

Jadumani, who has been charged with different Sections of IPC, was produced before the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Imphal West, RK Memcha yesterday, said a reliable source.

Jadumani was taken to Shija hospital for a brief health check-up before he was detained at Imphal police station, added the source.

600 trucks leave for Imphal
About 600 loaded trucks left Jiribam for Imphal on Thursday under tight security measures provided by the 6th Battalion IRB, JNN reports.

Among the 600 trucks that left for Imphal yesterday 180 are carrying rice, 254 of them are carrying cements, 5 urea, 4 ATF fuel and 3 are loaded with medicines.

Power shutdown
Consumers of 11KV Bazar in Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai, Lupa Marup, Khoyathong areas will experience power cut off from 8 am to 5 pm on September 20 for charging of new DTRs under R-APDRP(B), informed the DGM/IED-II, MSPDCL, Lamphel.

Man held with drugs
A team of Narcotic Affairs and Border arrested a man with drugs from Sora bazar under Kakching police station in Thoubal district today.

According to a reliable source, a team of NAB led by OC Kesor carried out a surprise drive at Sora bazar and 10 gm of heroin number-4, 508 pieces of SP capsule and 25 pieces of N-10 tablet were seized from the shop of one Md Feroz Khan alias Ithem (30) s/o Abdul Manab of Sora bazar.
