Villagers seek remedial measures

Tpl, August 18 2018: The village road of Maipi Mangsom village which is around 9 kms away from NH 102 is not up to the standard.

The road is in such a pathetic condition that not even a two wheeler vehicle is able to ply along the said road.

The incessant rain in the past weeks has made the road muddy and slippery which restricts plying of any vehicles and in turn has caused numerous inconveniences to the villagers.

The said road connects Maipi Mangsom village, N Champhai village, SM Lhangjol village.

Speaking to our correspondent, Maipi Mangsom village secretary Ngamjatong Baite has appealed the authority concerned to look into the grievances of the villagers and take a remedial steps at the earliest.
