Imphal, July 18 2022: Mantripukhri Battalion ander the aegis of IGAR(South) conducted an awareness programme cum training on Organic Farming at Sawombung, Imphal East on July 18 .

At the event, officers from the Agricultural Department gave lectures on the advantages of "Organic farming", said a statement of IGAR(S) .

The programme was conducted to spread awareness on "Organic farming" and its benefits.

Similarly, Phundrei Battalion also organised an awareness lecture on "Agnipath scheme" at Pangaltabi village, Kakching district on July 18 .

The lecture was conducted to educate the youths on various aspects and benefits offered by Agnipath scheme.

A total of 30 youths participated in the event.
