Students stage-in against encroachment

Imphal, February 18 2018: Students of Azad Higher Secondary School, Yairipok staged a sit-in-protest at its girls hostel today demanding removal of the land encroachers from the school campus.

The enraged students warned of launching intense agitations in case the demand is not met by the authority concerned.

Speaking to media persons, Phanjoubam Basanta, one of the student protestors said that some people encroached on certain land portions inside the school campus thereby affecting normal functioning of the school.
