Imphal, July 17 2022: Mantripukhri Battalion of IGAR (South) organised a security coordination meet with village elders along with a motivational lecture on the role of security forces at Kangla Sangomsang community hall in Imphal East district on Sunday.

The aim of the meet was to make the people aware of Assam Rifles and also to showcase the glorious history and tradition of the security forces, said PRO IGAR (S) in a release, adding that troops of Assam Rifles also briefed the local people about the various entry processes to join the Indian Armed Forces and Assam Rifles.

A total of 35 members attended the lecture.
