Electoral roll reverification process begins

Thoubal, December 14 2016: Electoral roll reverification process for the district began yesterday at DC Thoubal conference hall, our correspondent reports.

The reverification process was necessitated after a certain political party made a complain to the ECI that some of the names listed in the electoral roll are minors.

The reverification process will be held till December 17 and the final publication of the electoral roll will be made on January 2 .

Eligible persons who have not enrolled themselves in the electoral list yet may also get themselves enrolled by December 17 .
