Imphal, March 14 2016: A state wide cleanliness drive was un- dertaken by the troops of IGAR (South) on March 12 and 13. According to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S), the drive was aimed at spreading awareness about the Swachh Bharat initiative of the Govern- ment.

The drive was conducted at 26 locations of the State and apart from participative clean- ing of localities and public utilities such as water tanks and community toilets, the drive also included informative talks on cleanliness, public health and sanitation as well as a poster campaign.
