Students urge for swift action

Students of Women ITI, Takyel, have urged the State Government as well as the authority concerned to provide necessary infrastructure and resources for the institute at the earliest .
Speaking to media persons inside the institute's complex today, Sonia Chingtham, a student of Computer Operator Programme Assistant (COPA) of Women's ITI, said that Women's ITI has six trades namely Hair, Skin, Dress making, Embroidery, Secretarial Practice and COPA but the lack of proper infrastructure has created a lot of inconveniences for the students.
The students have requested the Principal as well as the Joint Director numerous times but to no avail .
She further said that the semester examinations are approaching fast but the students are facing various hardships due to the deplorable condition of the institute and appealed to the State Government as well as the authority concerned to take up necessary steps at the earliest.
