Imphal, December 11 2015 : Candlelight rally held
A large number of Manipuri youth gathered at Jantar Mantar under the banner of North-East Forum for International Solidarity (NEFIS) and took out a candlelight rally against the persistence of extra-judicial killings by the armed personnel in Manipur.

During the meeting, activists of NEFIS resolved to launch a Nation-wide campaign to ensure justice to the victims and the family members.

Power shutdown
Manipur State Power Company Ltd has informed the general public that the 33 KV line from Kakching to Thoubal via Wangjing will be shut down from 8 am to 12 noon on December 13 .

Kabui Salang Maiba function
Kabui Dharma Sabha Manipur is going to organize Kabui Salang Maiba memorial function on December 25 at JNURM community centre, Kakching Shumang Leikai from 12 noon.

Experts will deliver a lecture on "Kabui Salang Maiba Amasung Dharma", according to a press release issued by the joint secretary of Kabui Dharma Sabha Manipur.

Body disposal
The unidentified body which is lying at RIMS morgue after being found in an unconscious state near Kalibari temple, Thangal Bazar on December 8 will be disposed tomorrow as no one has come forward to claim the body, according to a press release issued by the OC of City PS, Imphal West.
