Imphal, November 10 2024: A young housewife was found dead hanging inside a brewery shed at Awang Sekmai New Market under Sekmai Police Station on Sunday.

The deceased has been identified as Nongthombam ongbi Manileima Devi (26) w/o Nongthombam Denny Meitei of Awang Sekmai New Market.

According to a police report, Manileima was found hanging inside the brewery room of the residence around 11.40am Sunday.

She was immediately rushed to CHC Sekmai but declared brought dead by the doctor on duty.

Sekmai PS has registered a case in this regard and the body shifted to RIMS morgue for post mortem examination.
