Bishnupur, September 10 2017: A sit-in protest was held today against the removal of 11 electorates from the Phubala Gram Panchayat Ward No.5 and Ward No.6 lists of the Bishnupur CD Block under Moirang Assembly Constituency .

Protesters demanded punishment for those are responsible for deleting the names of the voters, who had been casting their votes in the General and MP elections, just before the General Panchayat Election.

They also added that they will ban the elections in the two wards if the culprits are not caught soon.
