AR provides medical aid to snake bite victim

Imphal, August 10 2024:
Assam Rifles on Friday provided emergency medical aid to a 50-year-old man from N Saikot village, Churachandpur, who was bitten by a snake on his right hand.
He was brought to AR camp at S Khollen, where the medical team swiftly treated him, dressing the wound, administrating antibiotics, giving a tetanus injection and running lab tests.
After the initial treatment, the patient was referred to Churachandpur Medical College for further investigation and evaluation, said an IGAR (S) release.
