Senapati, August 10, 2012: The Naga People's Organization (NPO) in a press note has appealed to the NSCN-IM for safe release of other Naga faction cadres lodged in their custody for the last many months.

Acknowledging the unceasing efforts and contribution of NSCN-IM in upholding the principles of Naga Reconciliation process, the NPO appealed for safe release of all cadres belonging to different Naga groups lodged in NSCN/GPRN camps on humanitarian ground.

Further, NPO observed that it is in the best interest and prayers of general public of Senapati District that the cadres belonging to NSCN-K and other Naga groups still in the custody of the NSCN-IM be safely release.

Considering the need to concretize the reconciliation process through mutual understanding and forgiveness, the release of the cadres is prayed upon to the leadership of NSCN-IM, it added.
