Imphal, December 08 2012: Dr Ch Jamini, winner of Sahitya Sagar Award 2012, was honoured by Young Women Help Organisation (YWHO) on Saturday during a simple felicitation function held at the office of YWHO, Konjeng Hajari Leikai, Sega Road in Imphal.

Ch Jamini, advisor, YW-HO and former chairperson of Manipur Women Commission, has been conferred with the prestigious award by Akhil Bharatiya Hindi Sevi Sangsthan, Ahamedabad in recognition of her social works.

Former Gujarat minister Narendra Gour handed over the award to Jamini at a function held at Ahamedabad Nirala Art Gallery on October 7, said Robita, secretary, YWHO.
