Thoubal, December 07 2017: The annual old age pension distribution ceremony of Moirangthem Ibotombi Memorial Trust was held at Heirok part II, Mayai Leikai today .

The pension is distributed to elderly people and differently abled people, residing in Heirok AC .

A total of Rs 1200 were distributed to 1032 elderly and differently abled people, during the ceremony .

Speaking on the occasion, secretary of the Trust, Rameshwor stated that the number of beneficiaries would be increased to 1500 next year .

He added that the pension is distributed in the name of late Ex-Minister of the State, Moirangthem Ibotombi and the pension distribution ceremony is organised every year.
