Imphal, September 07 2019: Joupi Battalion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) celebrated Teachers Day at Saibol Joupi Primary School, Chandel district 5th September.

The event was organised to honour teachers for their contribution in shaping the life of children and also in remembrance of Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan's birthday, said a statement of PRO IGAR (South) .

Assistance in terms of guidance for plumbing and flooring work for classrooms was also carried out in the school.

More than 60 students including teachers attended the event with great enthusiasm, said AR.
