BCC Kakching backs general strike call

Kakching, July 07 2022: Block Congress Committee (BCC), Kakching has extended its full support to the 24-hour statewide general strike which is being imposed from midnight of July 8 by Bharat Kisan Sangh Manipur Prant over the issue of shortage of fertilisers in the state.

According a statement released by BCC Kakching secretary Leishangthem Brojen, the Committee is well aware that the farmers in Kakching are yet to receive their share of fertilisers and as such, urged all clubs, NGOs, Meira Paibi in Kakching to extend their support to the bandh, while keeping aside party differences.
