Imphal, May 06 2015 : Zeliangrong Union (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland) on Wednesday sought public opinion from Khunpu/Khullak of Zeliangrong villages Pei-Villages Authority; Social leader; Politicians; Bureaucrat; Government Employees; Intellectuals; Religious; Leader; women leaders of the Zeliangrong Community in the State.

In a press statement, ZU (AMN) General Secretary Azang Rongmei said that the ZU which is the sole apex body of Zeliangrong people since its establishment of 1972 is very clear about its position and no other organisation can challenge its authority in all the Zeliangrong inhabited areas in Assam, Manipur and Nagaland.

The ZU is a mature organisation or mother of all the Zeliangrong organisation be it ZASUM, ZYF, ZWU, KAMA even UNC.

The ZU urged the ZYF to know their root cause and not to confuse the apex body of the Zeliangrong people.
