Imphal, October 04 2015: Hepatitis B, C detection camp
Anal Students' Union, Chakpikarong branch today organised a free Hepatitis B, C detection camp at Chakpikarong bazar.

Villagers were treated by a team led by Dr N Biplab Singh.

Medicines were also distributed to the patients by Biocon & Virology.

NSS team
Manipur NSS team comprising 18 members including two programme officers from different institutions will participate in the inter-State youth exchange and home stay programme to be held from October 8 to 18 at Dharwad, Karnataka.

Dr Th Bimol of Biramangol College and Th Tomba of Ram Lal Paul Higher Secondary School would lead the team, which will leave Imphal on October 5, said a press release.

Association formed
The All Jiribam Thang-Ta Association (AJTTA) was constituted during a meeting held at Sanamahi Laishang, Lairembi Leikai today, reports our correspondent.

Executive members of the newly formed association were also elected during the meeting.

Lok Adalat
Manipur State Legal Services Authority organised a Lok Adalat at Uripok Cheirap Court complex today.

It was presided over by Retired District and Sessions Judge, Manipur West, Kh Gomti, said a press release.

Advocate Ch Momon and Advocate S Olendro were the chairman and member of the Lok Adalat respectively.

25 pending cases and a sum of Rs 23,79,000 were settled at the Lok Adalat, added the press release.
