Assam Rifles holds security meet in Chandel

Imphal, August 03 2024: Assam Rifles organised a security meet at Moltuk with village chiefs of Parlon, Moltuk, New Songjang, Old Songjang, Molphibung, and K Savumpa in 'Chandel district on August 2, 2024 .

The meeting was a significant step towards encouraging awareness on security situation of the area and requirement of maintaining peace and harmony among various tribes and neighbouring villages.

The event received a good response from the border villages, and refreshments were also provided to the attendees afterward.

Representatives from seven villages attended the security meet, said an IGAR (S) release.
